Scammer Scams Apple out of 9,000 iPod Shuffles

Nicholas Arthur Woodhams a 23 year old man from Kalamazoo, Michigan, was able to correctly guess out 9,000 valid iPod Shuffle serial numbers; he also got Apple to ship him the Shuffles using a Prepaid Visa and UPS store mailbox (while not sending anything to Apple). Once he got the Shuffles from Apple, he would then sell them for less money than the MSRP. Now prosecutors have just brought federal charges to Woodhams for fraud and money laundering, his scam lasted from March 2006 to October 2007.
